It has had a lot of feet in the earth (read clay), but I have finally been able to introduce shrimp in my Xiriton baking at the Double Dike. I already knew that it would not be easy, because of course it continues to pioneer. Permits, subsidies, angry sheep farmers, material problems, the weather, feeding, vandalism and even a jellyfish plague bothered me. Nothing seemed to go by itself. Fortunately, the Province of Groningen cooperated with the Programme towards a Rich Wadden Sea by granting me a postponement and offering me the space to still come up with results. And now the time has finally come. The nice thing was that the media were also waiting for it, so the RTL news was in the first rank, a nice article appeared in the Trouw and there was also regional attention again.
